We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Worker - Welder at our Barrhead, AB facility. As a Maintenance Worker, you are responsible for general maintenance, including the facility site, buildings, equipment, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Perform repairs and preventive maintenance activities on equipment in milling facility
Operate low volume boilers to generate steam for processing
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to work in a grain processing environment on elevated platforms and ladders where necessary
Monday to Friday work schedule
Able to read, write, and communicate effectively and possess basic computer and problem solving skills
Must be capable of lifting and stacking 50 lbs
Must be mechanically inclined and interested in performing basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance tasks and comment on improvements on the facility's needs
Previous experience with general maintenance and with running forklifts, skid steer loaders, and front end loaders is considered an asset
