Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Lead Mill Operator at our St. Louis, MO facility.
Responsibilities:
Make wheat and product changes as per schedule
Work rotating shift every 4 weeks with at least every other weekend off
Maintain purifiers in good working order
Downtime maintenance of air filters, sifters and spout cleaning
Keep roll stands clean and feed rates monitored
Monitor finished product moistures and adjust water as needed
Make very minor repairs to keep the plant running while reporting all problems major and minor promptly to maintenance personnel
Oversee all operations of the mill/wheat cleaning
Supervision of employees working on their shift and seeing that safety and sanitation requirements are met
Good communication to other supervisors in the mill/loadout and assisting when needed
Qualifications:
BS Milling Science and Management or IAOM Correspondence Course completion
Minimum 3 years Milling Experience
