Description

We are looking for a Digital Data Analyst to join our Rexel team in Dallas, TX!

Summary:
The Digital Data Analyst uses expertise in data, visualization, and experimentation to support and enhance our business on a global scale. This role will collaborate with various users to develop and interpret reports, create complex queries, reconcile data from disparate sources, develop ad-hoc queries to augment/pilot new reports and perform data cleansing and auditing to identify idiosyncrasies and ensure data integrity. The Digital Data Analyst also advocates for a data driven culture, educating users on availability of standard reports to meet operational information requirements and uses deployed business intelligence capabilities to make recommendations.

What You'll Do:

 

  • Act as a liaison for reporting/analytics needs.
  • Provide and maintain live, interactive reports to support and optimize operational business processes
  • Address complex questions by identifying, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple and diverse sources
  • Collaborate closely with business teams to validate business opportunities through data analysis and controlled experiments
  • Drive the adoption of a data-driven culture throughout the organization by sharing best practices, educating teams, and disseminating knowledge to empower stakeholders at all levels
  • Continuously monitor data quality and integrity, ensuring that all analyses and reports are accurate, reliable, and aligned with business objectives
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • Data models commonly used for eCommerce and web-analytics including funnels, heatmaps, and cohort analysis
  • Writing and executing SQL for analysis and reporting, using Database systems such as Snowflake or BigQuery
  • Reporting platforms such as Power BI and Looker Studio
  • Analytics tools and experimentation platforms such as Google Analytics, ABTasty, and ContentSquare
  • Programming languages such as Python or R (Preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent - Required
  • Degree in data management & analytics, information systems, computer science, statistics, or related discipline

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to work autonomously in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to work effectively off of limited requirements
  • Strong mathematics/statistics background
