The position of Senior Incentive Compensation Analyst will be based out of our Dallas, TX locations!

Summary

Senior Incentive Compensation Analyst is responsible for the administration of incentive compensation program payments, practices, and policies. This position will manage the monthly, quarterly and annual incentive calculation and payment process by partnering with Business Leaders, Finance and HR to ensure the accurate and timely calculation of incentive payments. Senior Incentive Compensation Analyst utilizes data and analytical insights to assess incentive plan structures and payment trends to ensure the payment accuracy and cost effectiveness of incentive programs. 

 

What You'll Do

  • Administers sales commission and incentive program calculations and payments on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Analyzes and audits commissions data to ensure calculation and payment accuracy
  • Handles inquiries regarding transactions and payment calculations
  • Monitors commissions system and reporting
  • Prepares / maintains complex sales and commission reports and analysis that improve processing efficiency, ensure payment accuracy, and support calculation processes
  • Serves as subject matter expert providing guidance and support to HR, Finance, and business leaders on incentive compensation calculations and payments
  • Configures plan components, tests, and validates system calculations for new and modified incentive plans
  • Builds and modifies incentive reports for HR, Finance and business leader utilizing Xactly's reporting and analytics tools
  • Utilizes data and analytical insights to assess the accuracy, performance, and cost effectiveness of compensation programs
  • Supports the Compensation team with incentive strategy, design, communication and implementation processes
  • Evaluates and analyzes job and compensation data to ensure the alignment and effectiveness of incentive programs
  • Provide analysis of incentive and compensation programs to ensure compliance to state and federal legislation
  • Prepares compensation plan documents, policies and guidelines for variable pay, sales commission, and bonus programs
  • Supports M&A incentive integration process as needed
  • Participates in complex incentive compensation related projects
  • Assists the Compensation team with special projects as needed

What You'll Need

  • High School or GED
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent

 

Experience:

  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • Previous experience calculating and processing payments for sales commissions and monthly/quarterly/annual bonus programs
  • Experience utilizing variable pay, commission and HRIS systems
  • Previous experience with Xactly systems and reporting a plus
  • Financial modeling and forecasting experience utilizing the advanced features of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, if/then statements, macros and regression analysis a plus) 

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), SHRM-CP or SHRM SCP) are advantageous
