What you will do in this roll:
Plan, organize, and conduct occupational therapy programing in an acute mental health setting.
Provide professional therapeutic programming and services to behavioral health patients on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Research Psychiatric Center.
Participate in the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care.
Work collaboratively with members of the health care team, maintain a safe environment, and provide patient and family education.
Demonstrate competency to provide age appropriate care to adolescent patients (12-18 years of age) and adult patients (18 and older, including geriatric patients age 55 years+).
This is a full-time position and will include 1 weekend day, Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday
Qualifications
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Missouri State Occupational Therapy License
- American Heart Association Basic Life Saving (BLS) Certificate - Current
