Senior Product Manager, Security

How You'll Find Success
  • Collaborating with engineers, designers, and security experts to plan and address existing and emerging security needs and compliance standards.
  • Building empathy for key personas/users while translating security requirements into comprehensive product specification documents.
  • Engaging actively with customers, sales, and internal stakeholders to drive product enhancements and ensure adherence to security/compliance standards.
  • Leveraging quantitative and qualitative data to inform security-related decisions and success metrics.
  • Effectively communicating the value proposition to diverse audiences, and collaborating on feature positioning in the context of security.

Things You'll Do
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to bring security-focused features to market, ensuring they meet both functionality and compliance requirements.
  • Build empathy for core personas/users and translate security needs into effective product specifications.
  • Engage with customers, sales, and various stakeholders to drive security enhancements and ensure secure product usage.
  • Utilize a mix of quantitative and qualitative data to guide decisions regarding security and compliance.
  • Support go-to-market teams in communicating our security value proposition to diverse audiences and collaborate on secure feature positioning.
  • Produce clear, detailed product specifications that align with company strategies and customer needs.
  • Understand and anticipate customer needs while identifying areas for product improvement.
  • Use data to back your viewpoints.
  • Release features that enhance security and compliance across our solutions.
  • Communicate product value and partner effectively with go-to-market stakeholders.
What We're Looking for on Your Resume
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • 4-8 years of experience in a product-related role, preferably within technology, software development, or security-focused products.
  • An owner's mentality, adaptability, and a proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical, data-driven decision-making capabilities

For full-time positions, this pay range is for base per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be included in an employment offer, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and other benefits, based on eligibility criteria.

Washington, DC Annual Pay Transparency Range $130,500—$238,000 USD
