Head of Edge Data Strategy and Solutions

We are seeking a leader to drive the data strategy and management of data partnerships. 

How You'll Find Success

  • Partner with Edge leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive global strategy to expand our DaaS offerings, including identifying growth opportunities, customer segments, and competitive positioning 
  • Leverage deep understanding of Data as a Service (DaaS) combined with Generative AI - in particular in the human experience space - to accelerate growth of Edge business to 30%+ annually 
  • Proven ability to influence and negotiate large scale seven figure plus partnership contracts globally  
  • Consistent track record of delivering exceptional client experiences for large scale contracts 
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and technical growth
  • Strong understanding of business commercials

How You'll Grow

  • As a founding member of a new team within Edge, there is tremendous potential to grow within the center of excellence function.
  • Ability to own strategic initiatives with executive exposure/ sponsorship that have massive departmental and organizational impact
  • Be the thought partner and stay current by exploring new research opportunities and advancements in analytics and research methodologies

Things You'll Do

  • Understand the business deeply and recommend growth strategy for Edge Data as a Service offerings by developing and implementing  strategic roadmap for data research aligned with the Edge org goals
  • Establish strategy for assessing, acquiring and constructing 1st and 3rd party data sets in the Edge 
  • Own the end-to-end implementation including technical evaluation, ETL development, and ongoing governance 
  • Evaluate and manage the data vendor landscape including major offerings, commercial models, and regulatory environment (e.g. GDPR, CCPA)
  • Partner with data vendors to achieve Edge's strategic and financial objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, operations, finance, product development) to understand their data needs, identify data- driven opportunities, influence decision making and provide strategic recommendations that drive strategic growth
  • Partner with executives, product teams and business leadership to identify and prioritize research projects with the highest potential impact
  • Anticipate challenges, opportunities and undiscovered potential with the new vendor partners (additional ways to monetize, model training potential, etc)

What We're Looking For On Your Resume

  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in data management, data architecture, or related technical roles.
  • Strong proficiency with data management tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, ETL tools, data visualization software).
  • 5+ years of experience establishing and managing successful eight figure plus data partnerships.
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale research projects, data science applications and advanced analytics
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in business, sciences, technology or engineering.
  • Comfortable in a fast-pace, unstructured, and highly competitive environment
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
