- 1 Yr Exp, 2 years of full-time mammography experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in diagnostic and screening mammograms.
- Patient Age Group: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- Perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting.
- Responsible for producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner.
- Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA.

- - Stereotactic Biopsy
- Ability to accurately produce high quality diagnostic mammographic images.
- Ability to perform, in conjunction with the physician staff, related special procedures.
- Working knowledge of breast anatomy, proper radiographic exposure factors and procedures for mandated quality control activities.
- Working knowledge of a variety of x-ray equipment and associated applications (specifically mammography and processing units).
- Job Requirements
- 1 year of nursing experience required
- 2 years of full-time mammography experience strongly preferred
- Must have active WA state nursing license to submit
- Schedule Information
- Department is open Monday thru Friday from 7am to 5pm and Saturday from 8am to 430pm.
- Unit Specific Information
- All techs new to department have 25 exams observed by another tech before working on own
