Job Details
• First time travelers accepted
• 1 Yr Exp, 2 years of full-time mammography experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in diagnostic and screening mammograms.
• Patient Age Group: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting.
• Responsible for producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner.
• Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA.

• - Diagnostic Mammograms
• - Fine Needle Aspirations
• - Needle Localizations
• - Screening Mammograms
• - Stereotactic Biopsy
• Ability to accurately produce high quality diagnostic mammographic images.
• Ability to perform, in conjunction with the physician staff, related special procedures.
• Working knowledge of breast anatomy, proper radiographic exposure factors and procedures for mandated quality control activities.
• Working knowledge of a variety of x-ray equipment and associated applications (specifically mammography and processing units).

Job Requirements
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• 2 years of full-time mammography experience strongly preferred
• Must have active WA state nursing license to submit

Schedule Information
• Department is open Monday thru Friday from 7am to 5pm and Saturday from 8am to 430pm.

Unit Specific Information
• All techs new to department have 25 exams observed by another tech before working on own
