We Are Hiring: Registered Nurse - Moreland Surgery Center - 0.9 FTE, Days
The Moreland Surgery Center is a continually growing joint venture with ProHealth Care. We serve approximately 5,000 patients and perform approximately 10,000 procedures annually. Our facility allows for a collaborative effort between hospital and physicians to provide safe, high-quality, and economical ambulatory surgical services to our community. To ensure the highest quality standards are achieved, the facility has been accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and is a certified provider for Medicare and Medicaid patients.
Schedule: This position will have hours Monday through Friday. Either a 0645 or 0800 start time. Start times flexed to meet staffing needs and census. No nights, no weekends, no call, no holidays. *CA #LI-MO
What You Will Do:
The Operating Room Registered Nurse (Clinical Nurse - OR ) is a competent practitioner who integrates theoretical knowledge with clinical experience in the care of patients and families. Nursing care is delivered using a deliberate, systematic approach and practice is guided by increasing awareness of patterns of patient responses in recurrent situations. These registered nurses demonstrate a mastery of most technical skills and begin to view clinical situations from a patient and family focus as they provide professional nursing care within clinical areas/ campuses as required by staffing matrices. These RN's also supervise and direct delegated nursing acts commensurate with educational preparation and demonstrated abilities of the person supervised.
What You Will Need:
Associate's Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Wisconsin Registered Nurse License, or ability to obtain
Valid American Heart (AHA) Basic Life Support ( BLS) certification.
Experience in Surgery / Operating Room environment required at this time.
