We Are Hiring: Manager Patient Care - 4NW Ortho Neruo and 4SW General Surgery
Schedule Details: Flexible to other shifts and weekends as needed for visibility and follow up on unit, 24/7 accountibility
Are you a dynamic nursing leader ready to make a meaningful impact? ProHealth Care is seeking an Inpatient Manager to oversee two diverse inpatient units at Waukesha Memorial Hospital:
- 4NW – Neuro/Ortho Unit (31 beds): Specializing in neurological and orthopedic patient care, including stroke, movement disorders, traumatic brain/spinal injuries, and post-surgical spine care. Recognized as a Joint Commission Center of Excellence for both Stroke Care and Joint Replacement.
- 4SW – General Surgery & Women's Health/Pediatrics Unit (25 beds): Serving a diverse surgical and pediatric patient population, including gynecological, vascular, urological, GI surgeries, and pediatric cases such as dehydration, respiratory illnesses, and orthopedic injuries. The unit is expanding to include bariatric surgery patients with newly renovated spaces.

What You'll Do:
- Operational Leadership: Ensure efficient unit operations, 24/7 accountability, and strategic planning to enhance patient outcomes.
- Staff Development & Engagement: Foster a collaborative, learning-focused culture while managing staffing plans, competency development, and retention strategies.
- Quality & Performance Excellence: Implement initiatives to improve clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and cost-effective care.
- Financial Stewardship: Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and financial performance while maintaining high-quality care.
- Technology & Innovation: Integrate new technologies and best practices to elevate patient care.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- WI RN License & BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
- Minimum 5 years of RN experience, with leadership or charge nurse experience preferred.
- ANCC or AONE certification in nursing leadership is recommended.
- Strong skills in team leadership, decision-making, and process improvement.
