We Are Hiring: Anesthesia Technician - Oconomowoc Memorial 1.0 FTE Days
At Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital we perform procedures including General/vascular, Orthopedics, Urology, GYN and ophthalmology. Our 8 operating rooms, freshly renovated in May 2020, include new system integration for more efficient flow during surgery.
As an Orthopedic Center of Excellence we provide an array of orthopedic procedures including same day discharge procedures for total joints.
Schedule: 0600-0630/1630-1700, Mon-Fri, No on call, no weekends, no holidays

What You Will Do:
In the Operating Room, the Anesthesia Tech assists the RN and/or physician as an integral team member in the full spectrum of procedures requiring anesthesia intervention.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Maintains cleanliness, readiness, organization, and stock levels in the anesthesia work room, all anesthesia workstations, and OR's, which includes restocking of anesthesia Med carts.
- Prepares and assembles equipment necessary for invasive procedures, and assists Anesthesiologist as needed.
- Activates anesthesia machines daily, completing leak tests, able to calibrate oximeter on anesthesia machines.
- Demonstrates Knowledge of emergency situations and difficult airway equipment.
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care in a cost effective environment.
- Has working knowledge of anesthesia agents, reversal agents, analgesics, and anti-emetics.
What You Will Need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a program for anesthesia tech, surgical tech or previous anesthesia tech or EMT experience preferred.
- Cell Saver Competency
- BLS through AHA

ProHealth Oconomowoc Memorial is certified by The Joint Commission as a Joint Replacement Center of Excellence. Offers the MAKOplasty® and Anterior Hip Arthroplasty procedure to patients.
