Administrative Therapy Specialist - Muskego Clinic - 0.9 FTE, Days

About Us:

 

The Outpatient Therapy department services Waukesha county at several locations including clinics affiliated with Waukesha, Oconomowoc, and Mukwonago Hospitals. We employ 15 occupational therapists. Clinic staff provide care for patients with musculoskeletal, neurologic, and medical diagnoses, seeing patient from infancy through late adulthood. Many specialty services are offered including lymphedema therapy, pelvic floor rehab, Biofeedback for pain management, and two specialist Certified Hand Therapists.

They also provide specialty care to the pediatric population for complex medical, congenital, orthopedic and neurologic conditions, and sensory processing disorders.

What You Will Do:

As an administrative therapy specialist, you are responsible for greeting and providing exceptional customer service to the patients who receive therapy services at PHC locations. Responsible for the accurate scheduling, registering and entering data of patient information into the medical record system. Supports patient care delivery in the areas of scheduling, insurance verification, and support services. Ensure patients are fully ready to have successful interactions when they come in for a visit. Own provider schedule accuracy and, providing options, match patient needs to appointments. What you will need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to proficiently use a computer and type.
  • Experience working in one or more of the following areas:
  • Healthcare Call Center Customer Service
  • Healthcare with medical terminology knowledge
  • At least 4 years in customer service in an office and/or banking environment 
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
