Job Summary
Assists with assigning and scheduling daily operations. Responsible for electrical wiring, modification and maintenance of all electrical systems. Assists other sections in troubleshooting complex electrical problems. Attends assigned meetings.Accountabilities
- Maintains electrical distribution and other electrical related drawings to ensure drawings are up to date and changes are permanently documented. Ensures electrical equipment is properly labeled and changes to labeling is completed when necessary. 20%
- Schedules personnel and assists to keep PM system at 100% completion rate as well as other assigned work being completed on time. Perform and schedule the repair of equipment 15%
- Responsible for maintaining PM documentation to ensure JCAHO compliance. i.e. Generator run logs, battery checks, and other code required maintenance.15%
- Maintains and repairs electrical equipment and systems including: fire alarm, nurse call, all electrical power systems and emergency power systems, automatic doors, alarm systems, etc. 10%
- Responds to all personnel issues in a timely manner. Works with employees to resolve problems and discusses misconduct or violations by personnel with manager or director. Assists with employee evaluations to ensure they are accomplished fairly, accurately, and timely. 5%
- Estimates and orders all materials needed to complete jobs. Includes evaluating on-site stock for critical utility equipment.10%
- Ensures work is performed with the utmost awareness for safety and hygiene. Also, ensures proper Lock out-Tag out procedures are being followed. 10%
- Reports daily to Supervisor as to the general condition of hospital facilities and the general progress of work being accomplished. 15%

Job related course work beyond high school, Trade courses in electricity, electrical controls and electrical codes
