Description

Princeton Dermatology Associates (PDA) is a large, very busy, prestigious and well established (40 years) general and surgical dermatology practice, with five central New Jersey locations in Princeton, Plainsboro, North Brunswick, Monroe Township, and Hillsborough (all within 12 miles from our Princeton headquarters). All offices are located in very attractive suburban settings within some of the most desirable communities in the US, with excellent school systems, great universities (such as Princeton University and Rutgers), and wide availability of highly diverse educational, cultural and entertainment opportunities. All offices are approximately one hour drive from New York City, Philadelphia, the NJ shore and/or the Poconos. We employ 8 Physicians, 2 APNs, 2 PA-Cs and 2 LEs.

PDA is soliciting applications for its next class of Dermatology Nurse Fellows. The PDA Dermatology Fellows Program is a six (6) month rigorous training rotation in dermatology. It is open only to outstanding APNs (preferably with a DNP degree) who plan to pursue a life-long career in dermatology. The Fellows receive a token training stipend and have no obligation to stay with the practice. The program represents PDA's way of giving back to the community by advancing dermatologic care and by contributing to the training of APNs proficient in general dermatology.

In addition, PDA is looking to hire Nurse Practitioners with at least ten (10) years of prior experience in dermatology. We prefer candidates who have earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree, although we welcome applications from outstanding MSN/APN. Candidates already licensed and credentialed in New Jersey are especially welcomed. We are looking for candidates with very strong clinical and academic credentials, effective oral & written communication and leadership skills, who are U.S. citizens or work eligible. Ability to work in a team environment and successful engagement with front desk, medical assisting and administration staff is essential. We value individuals who are knowledgeable and hardworking, dedicated team players, compassionate care providers, computer savvy and good communicators. Employees may be asked to work out of two offices on a periodic or ongoing basis, depending on organization needs. Desirable work schedule, typically 8 am to 5 pm, M-F. Very competitive compensation with full benefits, which include paid malpractice insurance, health, dental, and vision insurance, vacation, CME allowance, a very generous 401k Plan, etc.

Interested candidates for all positions are welcomed to forward their CV to Dr. C. J. Papathomas, CEO via email at: cpapathomas@princetonderm.com.
