Position Summary

The In-Home Expert (IHX) at Prime Communications is a professional leader who plays a key role in the sales of AT&T products and services at the customer's home, under the direction and collaboration of the sales department leaders. This role consists of serving as a direct contact with clients and ensuring the best customer service. The In-Home Expert is responsible for the sales of AT&T products, services, and promotions and consistency in achieving and exceeding established sales targets and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Exemplary Customer Service: Demonstrate excellent customer service to all clients, build and maintain strong customer-company relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory levels, stock rotation, and work with management to manage the inventory. Conduct monthly stock and inventory evaluations, identify, and address discrepancies, and maintain accurate and presentable inventory records.
  • Loss Prevention Management: Coordinate with Loss Prevention to ensure any fraudulent or suspicious activity is addressed and resolved promptly and effectively. Implement effective security measures to prevent theft, shoplifting, and enforce safety standards that safeguard sensitive information and protect customer data.
  • Operational Efficiency: Monitor and account expenses within budgetary constraints. Enforce policies that align with business values and protect the brand of AT&T and Prime Communications. Collaborate with leadership and corporate teams to optimize supply chain and operational processes.


Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of professional experience in retail management, supervisory positions, customer service, or a relevant position.
  • Minimum 3 years of full-time professional experience in retail, sales, telecommunications, or a related occupation.
  • Ability to work at least 32 hours per week, 8-hour work shifts per day with flexible scheduling that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have a reliable mode of transportation to attend assigned store locations, work at multiple locations as needed, attend off-site training sessions, and meetings.
  • Adept in customer interaction and service, ability to meet or exceed performance standards, and ability to establish and close transactions.
  • Effective and persuasive communication skills, marketing and sales-pitching skills, and strong organizational skills with keen sense of details.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a professional work ethic to follow through with tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to empathize and handle conflict resolutions, disputes and discrepancies, and keep self-accountability on performance and organization.
  • Adhere to Team Color policy, company policies, legal and ethical standards, and foster a work environment that appeals to customers and best represents the company.
  • Familiarity with wireless technology, telecommunications industry, and AT&T products and services is preferred.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer, wireless equipment, copier and fax machine, etc.
  • Motivation to learn and adapt to a fast-paced, constantly evolving business, while keeping up to date with industry trends and changes in the company that affect the sales department.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to lift 10 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, squat and stretch for inventory and stocking purposes.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time to provide the best customer service, unless otherwise required or requested for an employee under the ADA.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
