Portsmouth Regional Hospital is a 220-bed acute care hospital located in Portsmouth, NH, and is part of HCA, the nation's largest provider of healthcare services.   Progressive Care Neuro/Trauma (PCNT)
  • 23-bed unit; Dedicated to stroke and trauma
  • Types of patients: ICU step-down level of care; Titrating vasoactive IV-drips
  • Procedures Performed:  high risk surgeries such as craniotomies and deep brain stimulators as well as other orthopedic and trauma related surgeries
  • Teamwork heavily focused to promote better patient experience & high quality of care

Qualifications

  Experience:
  • 1 to 3 years of acute care nursing in a critical care environment
Education: 
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree preferred
  • Tuition Reimbursement Program (up to $5,250/calendar year)


Licensure and Certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) License in NH or valid Compact State License
  • BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association Health Care Provider)
  • Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia – (within 3 months from hire)
  • PCCN Certification (preferred)
  • TNCC Certification (preferred)
  • TCAR Certification (preferred)
  • HCA will pay for certification renewals once employed
