Position Summary
We seek a dedicated and highly experienced Director of Human Resources to join our leadership team. In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Director of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition and play a key role in shaping our organization's human resources strategies and initiatives. You will be responsible for leading and overseeing various HR functions and contributing to the development and execution of HR programs, policies, and procedures.  Responsibilities Include:

    • Develop and direct all day-to-day HR functions: employee lifecycle administration, employee relations, benefits and wellness, compliance, policy, and performance.
    • Collaborate with the Senior Director to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. 
    • Responsible for implementing, developing, and training on all compliance and policies related to the HR function.
    • Stay abreast of labor laws, regulations, and industry trends, ensuring company-wide compliance. 
    • Advise leadership on all personnel and HR-related legal matters to mitigate potential risks. 
    • Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances and ensure fair and consistent treatment. 
    • Oversee the performance management process, including employee evaluations, feedback, and development plans. 
    • Responsible for all compliance reporting; OSHA, ACA, VETS, etc. 
    • Lead the design, implementation, and administration of competitive rewards and benefits programs. 
    • Manage and mentor the HR team, providing guidance and support to ensure their success and professional growth. 
    • Responsible for safety plan maintenance and oversight.  
    • Other duties as assigned.  
    • Predictable and reliable attendance. 
Position Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree and HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) preferred. 
    • Proven experience as an HR leader, with a minimum of 5 years in a director-level role. 
    • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices. 
    • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations. 
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills. 
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive HR initiatives aligned with business goals.

Additional Requirements   Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.   Cognitive: Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.
