Description

Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Analyst with excellent customer service skills and a CPA to work in our Downtown Los Angeles Headquarters.  Under the general supervision of the Senior Director of Finance and Controller, the Senior Accounting Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of PPLA's general ledger and financial statements.  This position is expected to function with a minimum amount of oversight while performing complex accounting work that requires the application of accounting theories, concepts, principles and standards to the financial activities of PPLA.  The work involves preparing and analyzing financial statements, analyzing variances between actual and budget as well as monthly variances, preparing cash flow analysis, reconciling accounts and verifying them to source documents, and preparing analytical schedules necessary for the financial audit.   Over one hundred years ago, Planned Parenthood was founded on the idea that everyone should have the information and care they need to live strong, healthy lives and fulfill their dreams.
