We're excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Medical Assistant Instructor to join our team!
Role Overview: As a Medical Assistant Instructor, you will coordinate with program faculty to develop and implement lab scenarios, meet regularly with students and faculty, provide feedback on student learning, and maintain student records confidentially. You will also advise students on academic performance, assist in grading, and manage supplies. This role involves active participation in faculty meetings and professional organizations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Coordinate with program faculty to develop and implement lab scenarios.

Regularly meet with students and the Didactic Instructor.

Provide feedback on student learning and needs.

Maintain and keep student records confidential.

Stay familiar with program and course objectives, clinical skills, and equipment.

Participate in faculty in-services and professional organizations.

Advise students on academic performance.

Assist in grading and ensure all check-off sheets are complete.

Manage supplies and prepare requests.

Assist with preparing and copying class materials.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.

Three (3) years of occupational experience as a Medical Assistant.

Four (4) years of job-related training and experience for non-graduates of an accredited program.

Current medical assistant registration or certification (CMA or RMA).

Additional required credentials as per local, state, or federal laws.

Verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and computer skills.
WORK SCHEDULE:
-
10 hours a week, Tuesday and Thursday, 5 pm - 10 pm.
