Description
The Financial Services Processing Coordinator will liaise between campus financial services offices and non-student-facing financial services processes to ensure compliance with Title IV and Veteran Administration (VA) funding regulations. The coordinator will manage process improvement with Title IV and VA funding and operate efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all relevant regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Serve as a liaison for the campus financial services offices to ensure compliance with Title IV and Veteran Administration ("VA") regulations.
- Review and process Title IV verification for "selected" students, professional judgments, and c-codes.
- Review and certify VA course(s) in the VA Enrollment Manager system or Tungsten.
- Responsible for advising the campus of their obligation to research and resolve conflicting and/or missing Title IV and VA funding information.
- Ensure all financial processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies while identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Support campus financial services with packaging, repacks, exception review, clearance, etc.
- Support campus financial services with processing stipends, credit balances, and collections.
- Provide training support to financial staff on new processes and technologies to ensure smooth implementation and adoption.
- Manages process improvement with Title IV and VA funding.
- Provides training and support to financial staff on new processes and technologies.
- Stay updated on Title IV and VA regulations to ensure compliance across all processes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and refining financial processes, including leveraging technology, to adapt to changing business needs and regulatory environments.

- Associate's degree in related Administrative, Business, Liberal Arts, or Social Sciences discipline from a regional or national accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE).
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with Title IV programs and Veteran education benefits.
- Must be able to maintain access to Department of Education (DOE) systems.
- Must be able to maintain access to Veteran Affairs (VA) systems.
- Ten-key calculator skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace and Department of Education portals and various sophisticated software platforms.
- Any equivalent combination of training, education, or experience that meets the minimum qualifications.
- Experience in interpreting policy and implementing process improvement.
- One year of supervisory experience in a higher education setting.
