Description

The HRIS Analyst (HCM Experience) plays an essential role supporting HRIS systems, and projects. The Analyst will work on a high performing team with other supportive HCM SMEs focusing on the associate experience. Work will include autonomous research, partnering with our HR and other key stakeholders to gather system requirements, system configuration, and the development and execution of test scripts. Additional activities include monitoring and maintaining HR data integrity though auditing, mass updates, reporting and end user support.

HR System analysts have regular interactions with HR, Learning & Development, Staffing, Compensation, IT, and other others across Penske organizations as we implement the HCM Solution and expand capabilities. Major Responsibilities:

  • Gathering functional requirements and user stories.
  • Setup and configuration of HR modules.
  • Create, review, and execute test scripts to verify systems are functioning as expected after, upgrades, patches, and bug fixes.
  • Analyze system performance.
  • Creation of audits and reports.
  • Customer trouble shooting and training support.
  • Service request case management.
  • Identify and correct errors in a timely manner and escalate as appropriate.
  • Provide HR project support.
  • Document current state and identify areas of improvement.
  • Other projects as assigned by the Manager
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. If no degree, equivalent work experience is required.
  • With Bachelor's a minimum of 2 years of experience in a role supporting business systems, including customer support, reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Experience with HRIS/HCM systems preferred.
  • A solid understanding of business systems of record and their data structures required.
  • Intermediate level of experience editing of report queries and SaaS configurations.
  • Advanced level of experience with Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point.
  • Must have experience with technical issue resolution process.
  • Experience with System Configuration.
  • Must be able to multi-task & have strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Must be customer service focused.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills required.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
