Description

The Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the Penn State College of Medicine, Penn State Health is seeking a fellowship trained Head and Neck Oncologic Surgeon to join our growing faculty.

Position Highlights:

  • Join a division of 4 head and neck surgeons and department of 11 full-time physicians, 9 advanced practice providers, 9 audiologists and 22 speech-language pathologists
  • Division sees over 500 new cancer patients per year and performs 40-60 free flaps and 20-30 pedicled flaps on average per year
  • Strong referral base from Lancaster, Reading, Lebanon Veterans Hospital, Gettysburg, and Harrisburg
  • Growing clinical trial portfolio with 6 co-op trials currently open with 2 trials in the pipeline
  • Fleet of da Vinci robots including da Vinci SP
  • Collaborative care with neurosurgery, dermatology and Mohs surgeons, plastic surgery, oculoplastic surgery, medical oncology and radiation oncology
  • Participation in medical student, resident and fellow education

Compensation and Benefits:

Position Requirements

  • M.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.O., or equivalent degree
  • BC/BE Otolaryngology and completion of a Head and Neck fellowship
  • Experience treating a wide spectrum of head and neck surgical oncology
  • Ability to acquire license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
  • Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates
