Description

The Studio Administrator is responsible for the design, setup, running, and scheduling of the production studios at Paycom. The Studio Administrator will provide technical assistance and support during production and events as requested or as needed. The Studio Administrator will be familiar with the production suites, its equipment, policies, programs, and services.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Scheduling video production suites for use by approved individuals.
  • Assist with setup and operation during video shoots, live webcasts, and audio recording.
  • Troubleshooting studio equipment when there are technical questions or problems related to the equipment and identifying appropriate solutions.
  • Reading and interpreting room diagrams, blue prints, and signal flow charts with respect to studio setup.
  • Serve as on-sight studio support for productions that take place on campus
  • Assist in weekly inventory of studio equipment.
  • Work with manufacturers and vendors to develop relationships related to equipment servicing (technical support, securing return authorizations, etc).
  • Maintain tickets by assigned status; updates/follow-up required within specified SLA urgency.
  • Manage calendar assignments and coordinate with Field Service Techs daily.
  • Meets financial requirements by submitting information for budgets; monitoring expenses.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Documentation:

  • Documents specific duties, activities, problems solved and issues resolved
  • Assists in the documentation of the production suites, policies
  • Performs training.

Miscellaneous:

  • Attends meetings and serves on committees, as requested
  • Coordinate with the creative department and training to set up studio shoots and podcast rooms.
  • Regular attendance as required
  • Performs additional duties and assignments as requested


Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • High School Diploma/GED

Experience:

  • 1+ years of production experience
  • Digital audio workstations and mixing consoles
  • 4k and HD camera systems
  • PTZ and camera control units
  • Digital video mixing and switchers
  • SDI video routing
  • Dante audio stage boxes
  • Unified Communications
  • Internal IT & AV Technologies and Infrastructure
  • PCs - MAC & Windows OS
  • Video Production Environment protocol and best practices

Skills/Abilities:

  • Evaluate critical systems, prioritize workflow and determine solutions
  • Wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpret and apply laws, regulations and policies
  • Provide technical assistance for computer problems
  • Read and understand technical manuals
  • Work for extended time at keyboard/terminal
  • Maintain effective working relationships with supervisor and coworkers
  • Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
