Paycom Payroll, LLC seeks Sr. Software Engineers in Oklahoma City, OK.

 

Duties: Expand and develop existing architectural frameworks for Paycom software upon which all existing and future basic software development depends [45%]. Perform basic software development of variety of projects ranging from industry-wide services to client-specific reports resulting in EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and other interfacing technologies [15%]. Lead and oversee the work of lower-level technology professionals such as developers and quality assurance [25%]. Organize project efforts with non-technical professionals such as customer support, clients, and vendors on software projects of all sizes [5%]. Adhere to the organizational processes and the tracking of project metrics and project statuses [5%]. Manage project communications with client/vendor, being primary project contact for some projects as needed [5%].

 

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 5 years of experience with each of the following: software development; object-oriented programming, business intelligence tools, or mobile application development; programming using at least 3 of the following: HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, C#, MySQL, Couchbase; guiding and training new developers on usages of architectural features.

 

In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 2 years of experience with each of the following: software development; object-oriented programming, business intelligence tools, or mobile application development; programming using at least 3 of the following: HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, C#, MySQL, Couchbase; guiding and training new developers on usages of architectural features.

 

Must work at employer's office in Oklahoma City, OK at least 50% of the time; may be permitted to work from home other days.
