Description

The Sales Operations Project Management Specialist will provide operational support to the Sales department. They will be expected to create and maintain internal resources, drive adoption of departmental initiatives, and provide the Sales leadership team with critical data needed to make strong business decisions. They will lead the coordination and execution of special projects as well as provide recommendations for process improvements based on observation and analysis.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the Sales department liaison to internal stakeholders
  • Analyze current processes and provide recommendations for process changes to enhance the Sales department
  • Ensure all deadlines are met for process roll-outs, department trainings, and special projects as assigned
  • Maintain the available current resources
  • Provide department leaders data supporting the result of a project
  • Assist in developing a process roll-out strategy and materials to provide to the Sales department, as well as other departments impacted by the process change
  • Resolve complex business problems or escalations by collaborating with internal stakeholders as needed
  • Partner with Product Management to develop and enhance Launch; internal booking and data collection process
  • Partner with Product Management to ensure all PCI developments continue to meet department initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-department project managers to create transparency into departmental initiatives with the goal of strategic alignment
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales Operations and Strategy to ensure department initiatives are met and maintained
  • Create and provide specific process-related trainings to the Sales department as needed
  • Provide updated resources from Marketing to the Sales Department that are designed to aid with the overall sales and retention strategy
  • Gather business requirements and recommend process improvements and changes to the Sales systems and processes with outcomes tied to revenue gains. 
  • Translate segment strategy into CRM workflow so as to track and analyze key trends 


Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

Experience Required:

  • 2 – 4 years of Project Management experience required  

Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with aggressive deadlines
  • Experience and ability to work easily and effectively with a wide range of people practicing leadership, influence, and motivation
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • A strong work ethic, be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Highly developed interpersonal and people management skills
  • Act as a brand ambassador by modeling Paycom values in every interaction with clients, colleagues, and general public
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
