Description

The Manager of HR Workforce Analytics will lead a team that uses a pro-active, approach in managing data across the HR organization.  This position provides insights on the workforce for evidence-base decision-making.  This position will work with HR and the business to develop analytical solutions, automation and develop data-driven strategies to inform and improve decision-making and obtain broader business objectives. This role will utilize data analysis methodologies, reporting and data visualization tools, and develop processes to provide insights and enable automation.  This position requires an understanding of data mining/mashing, analytical mindset, data visualization, project management, and the ability to frequently interface with executive and senior leaders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Owns and executes HR Workforce Analytics program strategies
  • Develops a foundation of analytical capabilities throughout the HR organization by performing complex data analysis to generate business support and drive more informed business decisions
  • Advises and delivers compelling story through data analysis, insights, and visualizations to HR, senior management and executives
  • Manages a team to merge structured, semi-structured and unstructured data from several systems to highlight company trends related to recruiting, engagement, and talent retention
  • Manages a team to conduct statistical analysis and identifying actionable insights of HR and/or business data
  • Manages HR, HRIS and analytics projects and ensures clear scope commitments (content, timing, etc.) throughout ideation, execution, and implementation phases
  • Develops, manages, and executes plans; tracks key project milestones goals, strategies, and scheduling
  • Oversees the identification of project risks and dependencies, issues resolution processes, contingency plans, and change controls
  • Develops and evolves scalable HR analytics solutions (reports, dashboards, models, etc.) for aligned business areas 
  • Partners with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Product Management and Development) to develop progressive analytics use cases 
  • Develops formalized measurement frameworks and collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure consistent KPI definitions and metric categorization
  • Continuously explores supporting data to identify and/or explain strategic opportunities and proactively partners with key stakeholders to address business gaps or opportunities identified through analytics
  • Creates and maintains monthly and quarterly workforce metrics and analysis
  • Provides weekly status reports on a variety of HR projects and initiatives
  • Develops processes to streamline the compilation of periodic reporting/analysis
  • Promotes best practices and continuous improvement in processes, systems, tools, and reports
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards


Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience in HR Analytics or Data Analytics
  • Experience with data visualization and advanced analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Alteryx, SQL)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Quantitative Analytics
  • PMI and PHR certification

Experience:

  • 5+ years' supervisory or project management experience

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong HR and business acumen and analytical skills are required to act as an internal advisor on meaningful workforce analytics.
  • Critical, analytical thinker with strong communication skills
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and procedures
  • Collaborative partner, builds and maintains professional relationships
