Description of Practice:
Full-time Physician Assistant needed for thriving family practice office. We are located in Parker, Arizona on the Colorado River, on the Arizona - California border.
We are a single physician practice with one part-time PA-C. Keith Shillito M.D. is a board-certified family practitioner with over 20 years of experience. Our practice sees infants through geriatrics and performs common office procedures. We utilize an electronic medical record system. The providers use laptops to perform their daily work. Neither Dr. Shillito or the PA-C see hospital patients.
Requirements:
PA must be board certified and comfortable with computers. Must enjoy seeing a wide variety of conditions and patients. A positive attitude always helps. Our office is known for its bedside manner. New graduates are welcome as Dr. Shillito will train, teach, and always make himself available. PA may live in Lake Havasu City if desired.
Salary: Commensurate upon experience. Close to national average for new graduates. Schedule is 40 hours a week with built in administrative time.

Description of Location:
Parker, Arizona, while a small desert community, is surrounded by a wealth of recreational activities and entertainment opportunities. Parker is located on the Colorado River, and so boating and other watersports are quite popular, both on the river and in Lake Havasu. Many southern Californians make this a vacation destination to enjoy Arizona's “beach”. Off-roading in all-terrain vehicles is a fun wintertime activity as the winters are mild. Hiking is also fun in winter and early spring. Wildlife abounds here, from bighorn sheep to birds to fish and fishing is excellent. Four major wildlife refuges are present within a half hour to an hour's drive.
Lake Havasu City is 35-45 minutes away, has a population of 59,000, and has all the amenities one would expect for a city that size. Many people who work in Parker live in Havasu. It is a beautiful commute. A major Native American casino and beautifully landscaped golf course are located in Parker. Las Vegas, Phoenix and Palm Springs are only 2.5 hours away.
If you desire to live and work in a relaxed community away from the congestion and pollution of the big cities, Parker is the place for you.
