Job Skills / Requirements

Required to efficiently and effectively manage the security staff assigned to their shift. 

Conduct/coordinate completion of assigned audits and inspections. 

Facilitate site orientations and training for new and existing officers. 

Ensuring Site Orientation Packages and Officer reviews completed within the specified timeframes. 

Ensuring all "Incidents" are properly reported during their shifts. 

Has in-depth knowledge of the Policy and Procedures of KGH. 

Complete various administrative functions.

Perform any and all other duties as required by the Site Supervisor or the ASL 

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in a security environment is an asset.
• Valid Security License or Basic Security Training.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and with limited supervision.
• A high level of maturity and professionalism.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Physically able to stand, sit and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be at least 19 years of age and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• First aid training, conflict resolution, and Advanced Security Training are considered assets.

Valid BC Security Licence
OFA I
