We are currently hiring professional and dependable Airport Security Guards to support safety and security operations in a fast-paced aviation environment. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere for passengers, staff, and airport partners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct access control and credential verification
• Patrol airport terminals, airside, and restricted areas
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems
• Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and suspicious activity
• Enforce airport rules, safety procedures, and security protocols
• Provide directions and customer service to passengers and visitors
• Complete accurate reports and logs as required
• Liaise with airport authorities, airline staff, and emergency responders

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security Guard Licence (or willingness to obtain)
• Basic First Aid Training (or willingness to obtain)
• Clear Criminal Record Check
• Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance / RAIC
• Strong communication and conflict-management skills
• Professional appearance and customer-focused approach
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Flexible availability for rotating shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
• Previous airport, aviation, or high-security experience is an asset

Paladin Security will assist in processing the Transport Security Clearance if needed. Please check the Transportation Security Clearance Program for more information on how to obtain the Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
