After successful completion of the probationary period, employee will receive off probation wage increase.


Summary:

Observe and report regulatory incidents to provide for the regulation, operation, and compliance of gaming activities; ensure reasonable protection over the assets of Oneida tribal property, patrons, vendors, and employees.


Responsibilities:

* Monitor and observe gaming and non-gaming customer, vendor/employee activities and areas at assigned locations.
* Use computers and systems to write reports and categorize information, monitor, and address door, panic, and alarms.
* Act as dispatcher for Security, Police, Fire, Rescue, etc.
* Identify process and control deficiencies, recommend Standard Operating Procedure changes within Surveillance and other Gaming Departments.
* Practice excellent customer service skills at all times to include, but not limited to addressing customer and employee needs courteously and promptly (Customer service provided shall be in line with the organizations "Good Mind" core values)
* Operate and monitor Surveillance equipment to ensure proper function; report issues/concerns to appropriate individuals.
* Monitor and record all gaming activity and areas required by standards, regulations and/or laws.
* Recognize fraud and game cheating; Use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations and/or standards.
* Assist with internal/external investigations.
* Monitor and report gaming irregularities accurately, maintain accurate video records, logs and reports as required.
* Recognize and report banned patrons and child abuse/neglect issues to the appropriate authorities.
* Maintain good communication with co-workers and maintain a positive and professional work environment.

Essential:
* Adhere to strict confidentiality
* Willing and able to obtain additional education and training
* Using relevant information and judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with standards, regulations and laws
* Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
* Must be able to identify/recognize names and numbers on a badge
* Must learn how to pull up and retrieve multiple camera numbers and locations efficiently
* Ability to successfully cope with stressful conditions
* Ability to see details at close range and from a distance
* Must learn all Class II and Class III in house casino games
* Ability to maintain emotional stability in stressful situations
* Skill in operating business computers and office machines, including in a Windows environment, specifically MS Word
* Skill in using clear communication verbally or in writing in basic English
* Ability to demonstrate outstanding customer service at all times.
* Operate a two way radio.

* Knowledge of Title 31 program

Education Requirement - Or A Closely Related Field:

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* General Ed, High School Equivalency Diploma, HS Diploma
* Applicants age 50 and older are exempt from this requirement

Credentials:

Essential:
* Complete Level I Training
* Complete Title 31 Training
Nonessential:
* Child Abuse Reporting Policy (CARP), within ninety (90) days of emloyment.

Must be willing and able to obtain additional related education and training.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and adhere to the Nation Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.

A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.

Must provide a copy of diploma/degree, license, or certification upon employment.
