After successful completion of the probationary period, employee will receive off probation wage increase.


Summary:

This position will perform daily activities for the Administration Offices including operating a multi-line telephone, answering incoming calls, and directing callers and visitors to appropriate personnel.


Responsibilities:

* Answer and screen incoming calls and correspondence; determine purpose of calls, and forward calls to appropriate personnel, ensuring professional telephone etiquette.
* Welcome visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel, maintaining professional and courteous demeanor. Answer questions about program services and provide general information.
* Process applications and issue receipts to clients.
* Maintain an up-to-date filing system according to standard office practices and procedures as requested.
* Receive, sort, log, and route mail; maintain and operate postal meter and fund allocation.
* Transmit outgoing faxes, and retrieve, log, and distribute incoming faxes; photocopy, collate, distribute, and file documents as requested.
* Assist with inventory and ordering of office supplies.
* Escort children to and from the Public and/or Tribal busses.
* Assist in the classrooms as needed/required.
* Make daily announcements using the PA system.
* Enter data in the EZCARE2 system, keeping information confidential.
* Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required
* Above duties and responsibilities are not all inclusive but rather a general representation of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position. The duties and responsibilities will be subject to change based on organizational needs and/or deemed necessary by the supervisor.

Skills:
Essential:
* Read, understand verbal and written instruction
* Business English, proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic arithmetic
* Ability to deal with the general public and Tribal employees with tact, courtesy, respect, objectivity and maturity
* Ability to maintain accurate up-to-date records and files
* Ability to work successfully with children
* Operating computers and various word-processing, spreadsheets, and database software programs in a Windows environment.

* Ability to plan, organize, and schedule priorities efficiently and effectively.
* Ability and willingness to understand and become familiar with the Health and Family Services Licensing 46

Education Requirement - Or A Closely Related Field:

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* High School Diploma HSED GED Required or Obtain Within 1 yr

Credentials:

Essential:
* Tribal Vehicle Driver
* Child Abuse Reporting Policy (CARP) (Hrd), must be willing to complete with the within the first ninety (90) days of employment
* Introduction To The Child Care Profession,  must be willing to complete with the within the first ninety (90) days of employment.
* Early Childhood l Certification
* Skills and Strategies for the Child Care Teacher , must be willing to complete with the within the first ninety (90) days of employment, approved by the Wisconsin Department of Instruction
* Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Child Care, must be willing to complete with the within the first ninety (90) days of employment.
* Driver Safety Training
* Ability to pass eighty (80) hours early childhood class assigned by supervisor within six (6) months of employment

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and adhere to the Nation Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.

A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.

Must provide a copy of diploma/degree, license, or certification upon employment.
