Salary $24.24/Hr

Salary is Negotiable

After successful completion of the probationary period, employee will receive off probation wage increase.

Shift Differential: 

Monday-Thursday (6pm to 6am) + $1.00 per hour worked 
Friday 4pm to Saturday 4am + $3.00 per hour worked 
Saturday (4am to 4pm) + $2.00 per hour worked 
Saturday (4pm to 4am) + $3.00 per hour worked 
Sunday 4am to Monday 6am + $2.00 per hour worked

Part-Time and Half-Time Employees: 

Eligible for an additional $2.00 per hour worked

Summary:

Perform as a working supervisor and is responsible for supervising the various Gaming Maintenance positions to include Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (M.E.P.) Specialty Trades and Grounds Keeping to ensure all maintenance needs of the Gaming Division are met.

Detailed responsibilities:

* Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations at all times and in all activities. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external customers of Oneida Casino. Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority
* Inform supervisor of recommendations/ideas for improving all areas of this position to include ideas on improving customer service systems or activities.
* Develop, maintain, and facilitate effective relationships, communication processes and activities with all Gaming personnel and all other internal and external customers regarding maintenance activities and projects. Ensure established procedures and processes are utilized at all times to ensure maximum understanding and coordination is in place. Attend department meetings to ensure effective communications take place.
* Adhere to established quality, service delivery, customer service, and customer demand expectations.
* Supervise staff to include hiring, disciplining, completing annual and probationary evaluations, monitoring time and attendance (KRONOS) reports, work schedules, and coordinate the roles and responsibilities for the general motivation of the Maintenance Department staff.
* Develop measurable performance evaluations for assigned staff according to department goals and objectives.
* Plan, schedule, and conduct staff meetings on a regular basis.
* Ensure Maintenance staff adheres to all Tribal Personnel Policies and Procedures, Gaming and Departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
* Prioritize and assign duties and work orders to staff; ensure they are completed properly in a timely manner and follow-up with the requestor.
* Oversee various maintenance projects to include project coordination, contract process, communication, and scheduling with other departments and vendors. Complete final inspections to ensure projects are completed according to work specifications.
* Work cooperatively with (M.E.P.) Specialty Trades and Grounds Keeping to ensure assigned Maintenance and applicable Casino equipment is in good operating condition.
* Operate lawnmowers, lifts, and other maintenance equipment as needed.
* Develop and schedule preventive Maintenance inspections and programs for equipment and buildings for Gaming Division.
* Develop and maintain a library of service and repair manuals for Maintenance equipment and applicable equipment utilized by the Casino.
* Ensure external grounds keeping and maintenance duties are being performed to include snow removal from Gaming Division parking lots and sidewalks.
* Maintain maintenance logs and repair schedules.
* Purchase supplies/equipment using Tribal and Departmental accounting practices and procedures.
* Establish and maintain an inventory of maintenance equipment and supplies.
* Recommend to Facilities Director the purchase of equipment, tools, and supplies needed with the ability to justify recommendations.
* Assist the Facilities Director in short and long term planning in relation to major projects and property improvements.
* Key Watcher duties: Complete all job duties for the Key Watcher system such as inventory, processing edit requests; running reports, trouble shoot system components, as well as provide training.
* Develop, evaluate, and review Maintenance processes and Standard Operating Procedures.
* Implement and participate in staff development and training programs

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:

* General Ed, High School Equivalency Diploma, HS Diploma
* Applicants age 50 and older are exempt from this requirement
