After successful completion of the probationary period, employee will receive off probation wage increase.
Summary:
Assist in planning, organizing, and promoting all Tribal Action Plan activities for the Oneida Nation according to established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the development of community event plans, goals and objectives and ensure compliance to contractual obligations and requirements.
* Assist in the production and oversight of all community event presentations for professional, civic and educational organizations.
* Assist in maintaining Tribal Action Plan social media accounts and Oneida website.
* Develop and market Tribal Action Plan events for Oneida community.
* Develop excel spreadsheets with area Manager to reconcile events or programs.
* Assist in collaboration and coordination of planning for conferences and special events, including consulting with conference or event directors to schedules.
* Act as liaison to event participants; prepare promotional materials and correspondence for participants
* Develop, coordinate and conduct trainings as approved by area manager.
* Prepare and provide pre- and post-activity evaluation data, as appropriate to the objectives of the program; prepare reports as required to area manager.
* Develop and write stories for publication on Tribal Action Plan social media accounts, mailings, and/or Kalihwisaks.
* Keep management and other departments informed of status of program activities by attending meetings and submitting reports.
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by conducting research, attending seminars, educational workshops, classes, and conferences; reviewing professional publications; establishing networks; participating in professional societies; conferring with representatives of contracting agencies and related organizations

* Knowledge, experience, and skills operating a personal computer with word-processing, spreadsheet, and database software programs in a windows environment pertaining to leasing/various real estate information
* Knowledge of substance and alcohol misuse, Oneida Culture and the Tribal Organization. Appreciation for cultural diversity.
* Skill in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing operational and financial reports.
* Ability to navigate the purchasing process to include Infinium and OnBase programs.
* Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in writing, including social media.
* Must establish short- and long-term community events in advance.

* Bachelor's Degree in Public Health

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and adhere to the Nation Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.
A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.
Must provide a copy of diploma/degree, license, or certification upon employment.
