Summary
Responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery as assigned by the Site Manager or Production Supervisor.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintains the safe working condition of facility equipment, building, and grounds
- Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment as scheduled to decrease downtime
- Repairs facility equipment, building, and grounds
- Removes and/or installs equipment for safe, efficient operation
- Troubleshoots electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to determine causes of failures and recommends solutions for repair
- Maintains cleanliness, functionality, and efficiency of maintenance equipment and tools
- Additional duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Requirements / Education / Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of industrial experience in electrical or mechanical support functions
- Must be knowledgeable of OSHA safety requirements, especially those related to electrical and mechanical operations and components
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints a plus
- Welding and/or fabrication experience a plus
- Working knowledge of three phase motors and 480-volt equipment
Physical Environment
- Lifting requirements are up to 50 pounds
- Endure intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, stooping, and reaching
- Standing for extended periods
