The Assistant/Associate Director provides supervision of patient care and substantial coordination of educational programs in the residency program. The Assistant/Associate Director assists the program director by assuming delegated administrative and educational responsibilities through goal setting and assumes full responsibility when the program director is absent. The Assistant/Associate Director works with the program director, other faculty, and GME staff to ensure program compliance with ACGME and a safe and effective clinical learning environment. The Assistant/Associate Director will perform other related job duties as assigned. The physician educator acts as a role model for the OhioHealth mission and values through daily actions, decision making and priority setting.
