The Trauma Program Director (TPD) assumes responsibility for the management of the Trauma patients throughout the hospital. The TPD is also responsible for data abstraction from the medical records of appropriately defining the trauma patients.

QualificationsThis position requires a current Utah RN license, or interstate compact license in good standing. Current certification as a BLS and ACLS Healthcare Provider is also required. TNCC and ENPC certification required within one year of hire date. A Bachelor's degree is required, as well as five or more years of clinical nursing experience with demonstrated expertise in Trauma care. Experience in teaching and quality management, as well as effective communication and organizational skills are also required.
