Position: Residential Life Supervisor
Location: 7175 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, Pa 15206
Reports to: Social Development Director

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and maintain group living conditions, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for students
- Assist students in adjusting to center life and developing social skills essential for employment
- Coordinate dormitory activities and schedules, fostering student engagement and career preparation
- Train and mentor residential staff, providing guidance and support for student success
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate holistic student development and growth
- Promote a positive and respectful climate on center, free from harassment and intimidation
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Prefer Associate of Arts degree
- One year of experience in dormitory management or related field working with at-risk youth
- Preferably, experience with Job Corps and supervisory roles
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of counseling techniques and ability to effectively communicate with disadvantaged youth
- Must obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with education and vocational training programs, as well as local social service resources
- Ability to inspire and motivate staff and students
Working Conditions:This position involves various physical activities, including sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and driving. Environmental demands include exposure to moderate noise levels and fluctuating temperatures.
