Northwell Health and the Department of Family Medicine is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Residency Faculty Physician to join our team at the Glen Cove Family Medicine Residency Program.  Among other responsibilities, the Faculty Physician will assist the Program Director and Associate Program Director in the educational curriculum – both inpatient and outpatient. They will ensure the program follows all regulations of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.

Other key responsibilities of the Family Medicine Faculty Physician will include supervising residents, and other trainees, including medical students, caring for patients under the auspices of the Department. They will also coordinate, schedule subspecialty rotations, and coordinate and oversee participation by faculty in the outpatient curriculum.

Glen Cove Hospital is a 265-bed community hospital and home to the renowned Inpatient Rehabilitation Service which includes a state-of-the-art brain injury unit. Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity.
