North Oaks Health System is seeking full-time, Board-Eligible or Board-Certified ENDOCRINOLOGISTS to join our busy and well-established practice in Hammond, Louisiana.

• North Oaks Medical Center is conveniently located in Hammond, LA - offering a small-town charm and close-knit community atmosphere, but also easy access to both New Orleans & Baton Rouge – both cities are less than an hour away!
• Serving a large geographic market of approximately 500,000 residents, North Oaks has provided quality health care to our community for over 60 years.
• North Oaks Health System is the largest health care delivery system in the region, boasting a 330-bed acute care hospital, 14 expansive operating suites, level II trauma designation, a 27-bed rehabilitation hospital, a freestanding surgical center, two diagnostic centers, a hospice agency, and the largest multispecialty provider clinic in the region.
• Using the EPIC electronic healthcare record, North Oaks invests in technologies and programs that allow our providers to deliver the highest quality of care.
• The hospital-employed practice includes the treatment of diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome, osteoporosis, pituitary, thyroid, and adrenal gland disorders and cancers.
• Offering academic opportunities for its physicians, North Oaks received accreditation from ACGME in January 2024, and will begin its Internal Medicine Residency Program in July 2024.
• Operating as a Hospital Service District, all excess revenues are reinvested to expand the services and technologies that North Oaks offers; additionally, as we are a not-for-profit, our employed physicians may be eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
