Job Description
In this developmental position you will receive broad exposure to our Safety department with focus on data analytics and operational applications. Specific duties, among others, could include:
- Creating dashboards and reports for various departments within Safety with a focus on our Operating Rules department.

Analyze incidents for trends, root causes, and to identify corrective and preventive measures
- Transitioning teams from legacy information systems into modern information systems.
- Performing field visits to various railroad facilities to participate in compliance audits.

- Proficient with Data Visualization Software (Tibco Spotfire. Microsoft PowerBI, or Tableau)

- Safety: You must always work in a safe manner
- Environment: Mon-Thurs in office and Friday remote
- On-Call: No
- Weekend Work: No
- Travel Required: 0-3 Days/month
Education / Experience
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree
- Data Science/Data Analytics program is preferred
Compensation
- Freshman - $3,292/month
- Sophomore - $3,550/month
- Junior - $3,816/month
- Senior - $3,984/month
- Graduate – $4,766/month
*Housing stipend for those who qualify ($850/month)
