Job description

  • Assisting with incoming and outbound calls
  • Inpatient and Outpatient coordination
  • Schedule management
  • Maintaining patients' medical records
  • Attending team huddles and/or meetings
  • Liaises with clinicians, technicians, pharmacy team, and support staff

- Provide administrative support to the office staff and management team

- Manage and maintain office supplies and inventory

- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences

- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner

- Assist with medical records management, including filing, organizing, and maintaining patient records

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information

- Utilize various office software systems to input, retrieve, and update data

- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing

- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents

- Strong knowledge of office systems and procedures

- Familiarity with medical records management in a healthcare setting

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to operate phone systems and handle multiple calls simultaneously

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

- Experience working in a dental office or medical environment is preferred
