Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle
As NFM's Master Painter, you'll showcase expert-level techniques and deliver high-impact results across our dynamic facility. This is more than a painting role—it's your chance to be the go-to authority for artistic finishes, textures, wall coverings, and specialty applications that elevate our spaces. If you're passionate about precision, creativity, and craftsmanship, you'll find a canvas like no other at NFM.
- Monitor Provide direction, insight and prioritization for paint projects and schedules
- Manage Prepare wall surfaces (repair/patch sheetrock)
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring a high-quality, durable, and aesthetically pleasing results
- Utilize brushwork, rolling, and spraying methods with professional-grade tools and equipment
- Estimate time and material costs on painting projects
- Check inventory, ordering paint and other supplies when needed
- Utilize work order management system to implement and track work assignments
- Maintain records of work performed, including colors throughout building
- Plan and schedule work to meet deadlines while communicating effectively with multiple parties
- Hang wall coverings, including paper, vinyl, graphic design

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?
- Must be 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 3-5 years painting, finishing and wallpapering experience, plus 3-5 years carpentry experience
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Lift test required: ability to lift, push, pull required weights per established requirements for the department
- Ability to climb stairs
- Ability to work nights, weekends and/or early morning hours based on business needs
- Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, motor vehicle record and criminal background check
