Pay Range: $42,902 -53,199 annually

 

Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle

 

NFM's Category Analyst maintains and analyzes the category planning and buying processes and data, as well as provides administrative support to the Category Financial Planner, Buyer and Divisional Merchandise Planning Manager.

 

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

  • Create and Maintain: SKUs, promotional pricing, vendor promo claims (VRAP) and advertising input and update  
  • Assess: Evaluate invoice discrepancies and perform SKU accuracy audits
  • Compete: Confirm web crawl (competitor pricing) exceptions and update per category guidelines
  • Report: Run post promotion analysis, update on SKU workload status and category specific nuances
  • Manage: Cost SKU exception process (vetting invoice pricing)
  • Collaborate: assist Buyer with assortment review and vendor funding management
  • Support: work with internal and external customers on product status and pricing

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?

  • Bachelor's degree Marketing, Business, Management, related field or equivalent experience
  • 1 year buying or planning coordinator or administrative and/or inventory analysis experience
  • Retail buying, planning, merchandising, marketing or supply chain experience preferred
  • Computer knowledge to include Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • ERP software experience preferred
  • Ability to enter data quickly and accurately
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and/or early morning hours based on business needs
  • Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, criminal background check
