Pay Range: $86,260-138,906 annually

 

Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle

NFM's BI Supervisor will lead a team of Business Intelligence developers to extract and transform data into insights that drive business value. This role involves overseeing the development. deployment and maintenance of business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, and methodologies.

 

 

This is a remote position requiring the candidate to reside in one of the following states: NE, IA, MO, KS or TX.

 

 

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

  • Update: Provide ongoing status on BI and Analytics led projects
  • Plan: Create, update, and edit functional and technical design specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirements
  • Foster: Promote and establish a data driven culture among different departments
  • Manage: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and reliable business intelligence solutions
  • Research: Develop consistent approaches and methodologies for data analysis, automate repeatable tasks and drive process efficiencies
  • Team Up: Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver comprehensive reporting solutions
  • Create: Assist in the development of standards for measuring key performance indicators and metrics within each business unit

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?

  • Bachelor's in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5 - 7 years of supervisory experience
  • 5 - 7 years of business intelligence or data analytics experience
  • Computer knowledge to include Microsoft Office Applications
  • Strong BI, database, SQL, and data warehousing skills.
  • Expert in Apache Spark, Data Warehousing, Delta Lake House, and Azure data service
  • Demonstrated Database experience with SQL Server, Data Fabric/Snowflake, EDW Cloud Migration, and Vector Database
  • Proficiency with DB IDEs: SSMS, Azure/Snowsight, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience with ETL: SSIS, Kafka, Data Fabric/ADF/Snowpipe
  • Demonstrated experience with Data catalog: Alation, Collibra, Azure Purview
  • Demonstrated experience with Cloud services: Azure, Azure Data Factory, and hybrid cloud management
  • Demonstrated experience with BI tools: Microsoft Fabric & Power BI, Tableau
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to enter data quickly and accurately
  • Valid driver's license and ongoing acceptable driving record
  • Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, drug screen and criminal background check
