As the Sr. Human Resource Business Partner/ Human Resource Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes within the organization. You will work closely with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business objectives. Your role will involve recruitment, training and development, performance management, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations in Spain. This position will be in our Madrid, Spain location.

Responsibilities:

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues and concerns.
  • Resolve conflicts and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
  • Promote a positive work culture and foster employee engagement and morale.
  • Conduct regular employee feedback sessions and exit interviews to identify areas for improvement.

Performance Management:

  • Develop and implement performance management systems to evaluate employee performance.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to employees to help them reach their full potential.
  • Administer performance appraisals and goal-setting processes.
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate training programs.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations in Spain.
  • Keep abreast of changes in legislation and update HR policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to employee data, contracts, and compliance.

HR Administration:

  • Manage HR administrative tasks such as payroll processing, benefits administration, and record-keeping.
  • Prepare reports and analytics on HR metrics and key performance indicators.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven work experience as an HR Manager or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Spanish labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Workday)and MS Office Suite.

Language Requirement:

Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is required.
