Job Summary

We are looking for a collaborative Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Sr. Specialist/Manager who understands the broad ESG landscape and enjoys digging into data and project management. The ESG Sr. Specialist/Manager will be responsible for managing Nextracker's ESG reporting, facilitating stakeholder engagement and supporting integration of ESG across the business. This role requires someone who is highly professional with strong communications and relationship building skills. Attention to detail will be critical when managing our ESG data for disclosure. Creative problem solving and the ability to work cross functionally will help facilitate your success in this role. This role will report to the General Counsel.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist with ESG data collection and validation for use in ESG reporting and internal decision-making (e.g., environmental reporting, DEI metrics, and key performance indicators).
  • Respond to key ESG surveys, inquiries, and ratings agencies, such as ISS, MSCI and CDP, and other non-financial disclosure organizations
  • Support stakeholder engagement strategy
  • Administer ESG data management, validation, and tracking process
  • Analyze data to support decision making
  • Manage annual ESG reporting (e.g., creative design, copy, assurance, alignment with reporting frameworks, and reviews)
  • Partner with Corporate Communications and external partners to share Nextracker's ESG narrative across stakeholder audiences (internal and external)
  • Assist in partnership efforts
  • Support the General Counsel with reports for executive meetings
  • Perform benchmarking and stay abreast of ESG trends
  • Assist with ESG target setting and implementation of best practices
  • Partner with risk management
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Will Need:

  • A minimum of five years of related experience
  • ESG reporting and disclosure management experience
  • Experience working in ESG, corporate social responsibility or a related field
  • Knowledge of leading ESG frameworks; UN SDGs, SASB, GRI, PCAF, TCFD, etc.
  • Experience managing multiple, high-impact projects simultaneously
  • Strong work ethic
  • Passion for Nextracker's purpose
  • Environmental sustainability, Scopes 1-3 measurement, and target setting experience is a plus.
Pay Range (Applicable to California) $126,600.00 USD - $174,100.00 USD Annual Job Category AdministrationRelocation: Not eligible
