This position is a hybrid role (3x per week onsite) that will be based at our headquarters in Fremont, California. The ​Engineering Program Manager will report to the Director of Program Management.

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do

  • Work with the product development department to plan and build program plans to accurately forecast program timeline, resources, and budget 

  • Drive product development program schedules for interconnected programs involving cross-functional activities 

  • Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and milestones 

  • Manage stakeholders to deliver programs with set deliverables and timelines 

  • Identify and resolve roadblocks for program completion 

  • Utilize business systems to communicate status, risks, and milestones regularly 

 

Here is some of what you'll need (required)

  • ​​10+ years experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager, or Engineering Manager 

  • ​Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods 

  • ​Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles 

  • ​Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software 

  • ​Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills 

  • ​Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical team members  

  • ​Desire to make decisions based on inputs and expertise from cross-functional teams. ​ 

Here are a few of our preferred experiences

  • ​​Technical background in product development and R&D for mechanical and/or electrical systems  

  • ​Expertise in Jira and Confluence with ability to learn new software/tools with minimal supervision 

  • ​Strong interest in renewable energy and green technology 

  • ​Financial planning and analysis ​ 

Salary Applicable to California: $140,000 - $175,000
