Description

The Department of Urology at the New York City Health + Hospitals/Queens in affiliation with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, is seeking a Urology Physician Assistant on a full-time basis. We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated, and talented candidate to join our Queens team, assisting primarily with outpatient work but could also include some inpatient/operating room work. Responsibilities will include direct patient care in an academic community hospital setting.

New York City Health + Hospitals/Queens is an acute care facility that is part of the largest municipal healthcare system in the country. It is a modern medical center with Centers of Excellence in Women's Health, Cancer Care, Diabetes Care, and Behavioral Health, and serves the most culturally diverse population in the world with a wide spectrum of medical conditions. State-of-the-art facilities include a DaVinci Xi surgical robot, multiple other Physician Assistants, urology residents, and an NCI-designated Cancer Center.

Successful candidates must be licensed in the State of New York. Compensation is competitive and proportionate with qualifications and excellent fringe benefits. Experience preferred but highly motivated new graduates will be considered. Benefits package includes full medical/dental insurance, 4 weeks' vacation, and CME time / reimbursement.
