Mount Sinai Doctors Westchester offers comprehensive care where patients can see a variety of specialties including cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, pain management, allergy, urology, radiology, and podiatry. Additionally, the site has a comprehensive support team, including medical assistants, NPs and techs (lab, echo, radiology).
General Neurologist and Neuromuscular Specialist needed to join Mount Sinai's downtown campus at Union Square!
The Mount Sinai Health System Department of Neurology is seeking two full-time adult neurologists to join the downtown campus located at Union Square. The Mount Sinai-Union Square team includes an outstanding group of neurologists with specialized interests in epilepsy, movement disorders, stroke, neurobehavioral disorders, multiple sclerosis, headache, and neuromuscular disease, as well as general neurology.
This practice will be located on West 53nd Street and 8th Ave. Hell's Kitchen is a neighborhood that is considered to be bordered by 34th Street (or 41st Street) to the south, 59th Street to the north, Eighth Avenue to the east, and the Hudson River to the west. Hell's Kitchen has become an increasingly upscale neighborhood of affluent young professionals as well as residents from the "old days." Ninth Avenue is noted for its many ethnic restaurants. There are more restaurants and food carts and trucks on Tenth Avenue between 43rd and 47th Streets. Hell's Kitchen's side streets are mostly lined with trees. A newer park in Hell's Kitchen is the Hudson Park and Boulevard, which is part of the Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project.
The 34th Street District is comprised of 31 busy blocks in the heart of Manhattan. It is a working district, with over 100,000 office workers coming in daily. It is a gateway to the city for visitors from New Jersey, Long Island, and the entire eastern seaboard. It is a magnet for tourists and fans of music and sports. In addition, of course, it is one of the greatest shopping districts in New York.This full-time faculty position based at Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital in the Morningside Heights neighborhood of Manhattan will involve a combination of caring for patients with seizures and epilepsy in the Neurology Faculty Practice, providing physician leadership and clinical care in the General Neurology clinic, interpreting inpatient EEGs, as well as inpatient General Neurology consult service weeks and call. Our New York City based health system and Neurology Department facilitates high quality care for patients with a broad range of complex neurological diseases and neurological manifestations of systemic illness.
This full-time faculty position based at Mount Sinai West Hospital in Manhattan will involve a combination of electromyography (EMG/NCS) testing in partnership with a technician, caring for outpatients with neuromuscular diseases and general neurological complaints, as well as inpatient General Neurology consult service and call. Our New York City based health system and Neurology Department facilitates high quality care for patients with a broad range of complex neurological diseases and neurological manifestations of systemic illness. This position offers a number of potential opportunities including collaboration with superb neurological, radiology and neurosurgical subspecialists, participation in and contribution to a robust QA/PI program, and engagement in education of trainees.

Position Qualifications:
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University
- New York Medical License
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology
- Sleep Medicine Fellowship preferred

Compensation range from 210K to 350K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
