We are looking for an AVP, Content Marketing Manager to help Mission Fed achieve its business objectives.  We would love to bring someone on board with a passion for research, writing, editing, building, solving problems, supporting the entire team who also just so happens to come from the financial services industry.

  • Develops a content marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals.
  • Conducts research and identifies relevant topics to create engaging, personalized and informative content based on various target audiences and personas.  Stays informed on industry topics, but also on product and service offerings.  Interviews key stakeholders or industry leaders / experts.
  • Plans, writes, and manages a variety of content types and formats, including: customer emails, member form letters, website content, multi-topic blogs, product buying guides, tips and tutorials, product/service collateral, social media posts, corporate infographics, annual reports, quarterly and year end reports, and occasionally board reports and video content.  Advertising content integration as needed, supplementing agency services.
    • Copywrites new content and able to write in various tones and styles, leveraging knowledge from financial service experience. Copyedits corporate, product and service-related content to ensure grammatically correct, accurate, aligned to brand voice, relevant to audience, consistent across various mediums, plus formatted correctly.
  • Develops a corporate messaging framework and copy style guide, which becomes the foundation for all messaging, to support the brand, campaigns, products, services, and themed initiatives. 
  • Supports the content needs for demand generation goals.
  • Supports crisis communications needs, plus coordinating distribution of content.
  • Manages relationships within the team, as well as collaborates with cross department stakeholders, and agencies.  Working closely with in house creative services team to develop visual content.
  • Manages social media strategy, content development, execution and reviews on multiple social media platforms and review platforms. 
    • Includes overseeing one direct report, a social media specialist.
  • Tracks and analyzes content performance using analytics tools.  Identifies trends and insights from content analytics to inform future content strategy.

 

Here is what we are looking for:

  • A bachelor's degree in journalism, Communications, English, Public Relations or related field. 
  • At least 10 years' experience as a content producer or professional writer with a solid work portfolio
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and marketing mediums, including digital channels & website
  • Experience in Financial Services is required
  • Driven, self-motivated Team Member who thrives on collaboration. A skilled writer and editor with a keen eye for detail, and someone who has the desire and ability to produce work quickly and efficiently.

  • Microsoft Office Suite; Collaboration Tools (Teams); Project Management Tools (Monday.com); Social Media Platforms

Base Pay/Salary: $95,000 - $120,000 a year

The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is $95,000 to $120,000. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
